(Winter Haven, FL) - The Polk County, FL Health and Human Services Division has awarded the Winter Haven Housing Authority with a $38,000 grant, as part of its CDBG-COVID-19 Public Service Funding for FY 2019-2020.
The grant, which was officially approved by the Polk County Board of Commissioners on May 5, 2020, is provided to local organizations in the prevention, preparation for and response to the Coronavirus pandemic in the community.
