WHHA Updates Its COVID-19 Work Protocols

Earlier in May, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed an executive order that immediately suspended the state's remaining Covid-19 public health restrictions. Private businesses can still require masks and enforce social distancing and other protective measures.

The WHHA continues to put its staff and resident safety first. Therefore, as we continue to navigate through the uncertainly of this pandemic, our agency will continue with appointment-only meetings for clients. We ask that clients and/or visitors please wear their masks while in office for consultation. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you. Office hours remain Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed to the public on Fridays.

Staff will continue to process annual and/or interim recertifications, to include income changes or household changes by electronic means. Appointments will be set with clients to finalize all documents, as required by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development.

Rent collection practices remain the same, as for resident convenience, a rent drop box is at the WHHA Administrative Office. Residents can also mail in their rents to: WHHA, 2653 Avenue C S.W., Winter Haven, FL  33880.   Rent is due on the 1st and considered late after the 5th business day of the month.
